Gifts, Collectibles And
Handcrafted Furniture At
Andy’s Woods By Design

Tired of trudging through the local “big box” store in
search of a unique gift or a delicious treat for your kitchen? If
you’ve trolled the Internet more times than you care to admit
while searching for a distinct, custom-made piece of furniture
that will stand the test of time, then take note: Andy’s Woods
by Design has just what you need.
With handcrafted wood furnishings, collectibles, candles,
teas, coffees, gourmet foods, cookbooks and more, Andy’s
Woods by Design offers a welcome change from the ordinary.
Want a cup of coffee or tea, but don’t want the bustle of a busy
restaurant? Come to Andy’s Woods by Design for a free
sampling of the flavor of the day, stroll through the store and
discover many fun and delicious items for yourself or a friend.
Now located in Old Towne Square at 300 N. Mead, Andy’s
Woods by Design is easily accessible, features door-side
parking and, best of all, with the additional retail space, ownersCarol and Andy Anderson are expanding the unique and
interesting products available at the store. These include
Kansas and Oz collectibles, and nostalgic candies sure to bring
back childhood memories. From Camille Beckman lotions and
soaps, designed to “pamper the one closest to you,” to other
high quality bath and body products, there are plenty of ways to
nourish dry skin back to silky softness —despite the Kansas
weather.
Andy’s Woods by Design is a popular destination for gift
baskets and other gift items. Out of ideas? Carol will
custom-create gifts for nearly any dollar amount you desire —
just give her a call, go have lunch and come back to the perfect
gift. From baskets pairing gourmet pastas and sauces, to gift
packages for “chocoholics” or a delightful fragrance collection,
there are plenty of thoughtful gifts. Other gift ideas include
Wind & Willow gourmet mixes, a variety of teas and coffees,
soups and spices, recipe books, low-carb foods and more.
Andy’s Woods by Design also carries beautiful tea sets that
make a perfect addition to any kitchen.
Be sure to view the variety of handcrafted quality wood
products while you’re shopping.The store’s expanded
showroom now has room for more of Andy’s ready-made
furniture, including his popular wine racks and display cases
made of oak or other hardwoods. Andy also custom builds
furniture to match his customers’ ideas and specifications.
Larry Jones, music director of Immanuel Baptist Church, took
an admittedly “awful” sketch of a golf ball display case to Andy
and was impressed with the results.
“Andy was able to understand what I wanted and produced
a beautiful piece,” says Larry, who was pleased with the quality
of lumber Andy used.
Since that time, Andy has built another golf ball case, CD
cabinets and an electronics cabinet to fit a specific space in
Larry’s office. “They are wonderful people to work with. They
are patient, and do timely and affordable work,” he says.
